Key responsibilities include:

  • Achieve independent and team sales targets and performance objectives
  • Uncover and onboard new relevant business that adds value to the show
  • Build customer relationships and deliver excellent customer service (from sale to show) to improve client satisfaction, retention and maximise revenue
  • Attend competitive events and visit prospective client factories (UK and overseas) for business development
  • Continuously develop product and market knowledge to stay ahead of the curve and exploit opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong sales pipeline through consultative sales, relationship optimisation and lead generation
  • Effectively manage the sales floorplan and stand allocation
  • Accurately and precisely manage sales contracts
  • Partake in weekly sales meetings
  • Utilise ACT to generate leads, manage pipeline, maximise sales conversion and increase revenue
  • Maintain ACT data and all sales administration to a high standard and in real time
  • Manage client experience onsite at all events to strengthen relationships and maximise stand re-booking opportunity
  • Create weekly sales reports for the Commercial Director
  • Take responsibility for long-term client satisfaction, handling and avoiding objections and/or conflict
  • Work closely alongside the marketing and operational function to promote excellent team flow and maximise event success
  • Support the finance operation in collecting stand deposits
  • Continuously represent the company in an enthusiastic and professional manner.
